Hi Andymac2ce711 and a very warm welcome to the online community which I hope you'll find is both an informative and supportive place to be.
I’m Anne, one of the Community Champions here on the Online Community and, although I'm not a member of this group, I noticed that your post hadn't had any replies yet. Responding to you will 'bump' it back to the top of the discussion list again.
While you're waiting for replies, it would be great if you could put something about your husband's diagnosis and proposed treatment into your profile as it really helps others when replying to you and also when looking for someone on a similar pathway. It also means that you don't have to keep repeating yourself. To do this click on your username and then select 'Profile'. You can amend it at any time and if you're not sure what to write you can take a look at mine by clicking on my username.
My partner got diagnosed in may
his had spread to his liver and has done 3 months of chemo
had a scan and it showed it has stopped it spreading
he’s now on the next 3 months of chemo and we are hoping for good news at the next scan
have got to say that the chemo has been hard on him
think everyone’s journey is different
can only hope and prey
Thats fantastic. Could I ask you how extreme has his pain been before treatment and is it any less after his first lot of chemo ?
He had no pain as he didn’t know he had cancer
since starting chemo he’s had tender tummy but it’s the tiredness and no energy that has got him down
but saying that he has kept working all the way through
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
We’re here to provide physical, financial and emotional support.
