Hi Guys, so i got diagnosed just over a year ago. I did 25 days of radiotherapy and 5days of chemotherapy which was every Monday (9am til 4pm). I also went into hospital for a week for internal radiotherapy. Treatment finished 8 months ago now, I've had scans and a few biopsies since then. At the moment I'm waiting on the results from my last biopsy.
Hi
Wonder why some ladies get radiotherapy and some of us don't.
I have a new patient interview call nxt Thurs with the chemo unit, new patient made me laugh, I'm not new to chemo, I'm hoping they have a date to start as new lil side effects are starting now.
Hopefully you're results aren't to daunting
Pam
How long did you have to wait in between treatments?
Kat
I had 6 cycles every 3 weeks or should have done, my blood just had its own idea about repairing even with the injections after each cycle. My chemo was only 80% last time too as I was to poorly to tackle it at 100%
Same again this time, consultant said if I tolerate it she will up it to 100%, but don't think I will agree until we have the scan after 3 cycles, and I will get injections for 10 days and at a stronger strength
