Hello,
Pleased to find this forum. I was diagnosed with stage 3c ovarian cancer back in January 2022. Then in January I had part of my bowel removed because it had become blocked - a side effect of the cancerous ovaries which were putting pressure on my bowel. I was in hospital for about 5 weeks due an infection but I have now begun to have treatment for the cancer. I have had 3 chemotherapy sessions and I have been told that the next step for me is a debulking operation in which I will have a hysterectomy and removal of secondary tumours.
I'm finding the adjustment from my life before - full-time work, good health - pretty tough but I'm trying my best to stay positive.
Rae
