Hi, has anyone undergone surgery for the 2nd time due to their cancer returning?
Was it successful?
Where had the cancer come back?
I would be so grateful for any answers from fellow sufferers.
I've had 3 surgeries overall. The 2nd and 3rd to remove single tumours. Unfortunately, in my case the cancer keeps.coming back in different places and l'm now at the stage where there are too many pockets of disease to justify further surgery. My consultant has strongly advised me against it. It's down to chemo to do the heavy lifting. In.my opinion, if they offer you surgery it means they think it will be effective, and if you're well enough to take.it, it it certainly worth considering as it clears the deck so to.speak.
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
