  • Hello there,

Firstly I would like to say welcome. I am Sorry that you are in this situation.

Please try not to read to much into Google statistics as there are many treatments that are available now,and there are always new treatments coming out. Chemo is doable and once you get started and meet other people you will not feel so bad. There are side effects, but not everyone gets the same, but somehow you do get into a routine.

I was originally diagnosed stage 1B for womb cancer and high grade serous for the cancer in one fallopian tube so grade 3. I was 70 when first diagnosed and did almost 5 years, after chemo, This year I have had a recurrence on the Omentum and have recently just finished 6 cycles of chemo, I feel fine  so I am hoping that the outcome from my recent CT scan will be good,

Try to stay positive,it is difficult I know, but it will help you to get through this period.

There are lots of ladies on here that I am sure will be able to help you through this, some that have done a number of years following their treatment.

    Take care, Georgette,x
