I have Metaplastic Spindle cell breast cancer, apparently this is rare and aggressive, has anyone else had this type ?

  • Hi  and a very warm welcome to the online community

I'm very sorry to read that you've been told that you have a rare and aggressive form of breast cancer.

I hope you don't mind me suggesting that you also join the breast cancer group which is a great place to ask questions, share experiences and get support. If you'd like to that clicking on the link I've created will take you straight there where you can join and post in the same way as you did here.

It would be great if you could pop something about your journey so far into your profile as it really helps others when answering or looking for someone with a similar diagnosis. It also means that you don't have to keep repeating yourself. To do this click on your username and then select 'Profile'. You can amend it at any time and if you're not sure what to write you can take a look at mine by clicking on my username.

  • Hello, I hope you are doing well. I have been diagnosed with a spindle cell tumour.

    • Hi  , I hope you are well. I have been diagnosed with a rare and aggressive spindle cell tumour.
  • Hi  and a very warm welcome to the online community which I hope you'll find is both an informative and supportive place to be.

I'm not sure if you'll get a reply from Mrswoolpack as she has not been active on this site since her original post over 2 years ago.

If you can tell me where your spindle cell tumour is located, I could give you a link to a group where you could speak to others. Alternatively, you could look through this list and choose the appropriate group to join.

When you have a minute, it would be great if you could pop something about your diagnosis and treatment so far into your profile as it really helps others when replying to you and also when looking for someone on a similar pathway. It also means that you don't have to keep repeating yourself. To do this click on your username and then select 'Profile'. You can amend it at any time and if you're not sure what to write you can take a look at mine by clicking on my username.
