Has anyone experience of travelling to a malaria zone with lymphoma? I am waiting to see the travel nurse for suitable anti-malaria tablets, but those I have read about so far have cautions about effects on red and white blood cells.
Sounds great Rosie OL …… you definitely will have to get very clear advice from your clinical team with regards to the precautions you need to have to in place (vaccines, tabs…..)
I went to the mountains of Guatemala over 25 years ago and had to have some vaccinations and tabs to take with me but being 25 years on I can’t remember what these were ;)
I do recall that back then I did have a very challenging time getting good comprehensive travel insurance as insurance companies back then could not understand me being on Active Monitoring.
