Hi all..I was just wondering if anyone else with Lymphoma suffers from low blood pressure from the cancer itself and not the treatments...what worked for you?

I developed A-Fib during my second Allo SCT (Oct 2015) and eventually had a Heart-attack in April 2022 so had a few stents put in and I am on beta blockers.and I am doing great.
Was it my Lymphoma of my treatments that triggered this - no idea.

I ended up in hospital due to a sudden drop in blood pressure...seems the meds I was on for hypertension made the problem worse and that's how it was discovered. On the plus side it's just one less tablet to take
I'm still waiting to find out what happens next...so I might phone them to see if there's an update...
I have had a few sudden BP drops over the past 10 years resulting me passing out for a very short period but it is what it is - as my consultant says.
I get what you mean...
Do you do anything when you feel the onset...like do you take something sugary or a high doze of caffeine to get the heart rate up?
On the whole it starts with a fuzzy head and getting warm/sweaty so I tell my wife if she is around but I sit on a supportive chair, take a coffee/sugary snack and on the whole this does the job….. this recent heat has not helped and I had one a few weeks back and found me self on the floor!!
Never had any issues driving and consultant says I can still drive (recorded in my notes)
So I'm on the right track...and yup that's how I feel when it happens...

Yup…. but I can put up with it as back in late 2013 this would have been the least of my challenges ;)
