Yesterday was my 1st day of chemo, and so far so good. I was a little tired last night but felt OK. I'm now a walking pharmacy with a few more meds to take, I'm sure I rattle when I walk .2nd round today hopefully it goes just as well
Hi , good to hear that things went ok and let’s look for today to be the same.
Totally understand the felling of being a walking pharmacy but it’s a necessary evil but it’s important to remember that this period of time is temporary and will pass.
Hi Londonfighter. I've just had my second cycle. The first one I was tired and pukey, but had 3 consecutive weeks of monoclonal antibodies at the same time. All in all, not too bad. This time I only had one chemo session. On the second day I went glow in the dark red all over , so had meds to protect my kidneys, antihistamines and had one tablet stopped. I was like a tomato in the corner of the ward. All seems good now though, kidney function tests tomorrow. Hope today's session has gone well xx
