I was diagnosed stage 4 bowel cancer in March and recently had surgery to remove secondaries in my liver.  However these have turned out to be NET secondaries!   It is well differentiated Grade 1.  But they don’t know where the primary is.

I have been told I need a Gallium scan and some blood tests.  I was wondering if anyone else had had similar experience and what I should expect.

thanks

  • Hi . I just dropped by and noticed you've not yet had a reply. I'm sorry I can't help as I have a different type of cancer but whilst waiting for the members here to come along and answer it might be an idea to type Gallium Scan in the search bar at the top of the page, you should get some answers there.

    Sending hugs, B x

  • Hi I had a Gallium scan - best type ever. Nor dissimilar to ct scan but different. I found it quite easy and not a problem.
