I'm 78 and at the beginning of 2020 my left leg began to increasingly get more painful and in August my thigh bone fractured, and I had an operation and was fitted with an IM Nailing.
Whilst in hospital I had numerous Blood tests, X-rays, MRIs, and CT scans which showed I had Cancer. In October 2020, a Pet scan showed cancer had spread, and then I had several biopsies which eventually by December 2020, proved conclusive…

I don’t have Myeloma but was diagnosed in 1999 with a rare, incurable but treatable type of Non Hodgkin’s Lymphoma Stage 4a so although my blood cancer ‘type’ is different I have experienced ‘the’ treatment journey but not necessarily the exact same drug mix.
Getting a blood cancer diagnosis out of the blue happens a lot as you go for checks for one health condition and then cancer is found........ So how are things going at the moment?
