I commenced Darzalex at first relapse January 2023.
My main side effect was indigestion. I have suffered with reflux for years, but this felt different. Severe bloating, abdominal pain and no appetite. No respite despite experimenting with various antacids.
I have recently been diagnosed with bile acid reflux and moderate gastritis following a recent gastroscopy . No wonder the antacids weren’t helping! Apparently bile acid is alkaline.
The consultant gastrologist said the Darzalex is causing it. Always worth getting side effects checked out, bile acid is highly corrosive and if untreated can lead to stomach cancer Just another thing to deal with! I have been really fed up with it all, to the point of stopping this line of treatment all together
