Hi All. I am 59 and 109 days post SCT. Induction therapy was tolerated well and we all know what the SCT is, from what I have been told I was a textbook and very lucky to have been so.
I had my BMB two and a half weeks ago, the Lab won’t report on it as they didn’t get it on time. I cannot have pain relief for the BMB due to other health conditions, and these are my nemesis, the most painful part of my journey. This is the third time I am being asked to repeat it, to stay on the trial I need to do it, I know I have come so far and this seems petty but I honestly dont think I can go through another one of these just now.
The Radar trial needs the MRD status for me to continue on the relevant pathway, what I was looking to find out is has anyone come off the trial and followed the standard treatment pathway post SCT? How are you doing? How is MM behaving? Any share info much appreciated
Hi I was diagnosed at the end of 2022, I went on the Radar trial in March 2023 and went into remission in July. I was due to have my stem cell in September, had the chemo, harvesting etc and then got diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis and had a bad reaction to a treatment, became poorly and was unable to have the stem cell transplant. I still have my harvested cells in case I need them. I am not on any treatment and feel okay. I have bloods done every 4 months and see the consultant then.
Thank you so much for replying, that is good news you are doing well
