Hello. I was diagnosed with a stage 1b superficial spreading melanoma on my shin, 1mm at the beginning of May. The first biopsy did not have clear margins, so I quickly had more skin removed and thankfully, this second biopsy showed no cancer cells at all. I am 45 years old.
I am having a WLE and sentinel lymph node biopsy on July 21st.
By far the worst part of this journey is the waiting. I try to avoid internet searching as much as possible, but sometimes I just need to hear positive experiences. However, they are hard to find and then I end up feeling low reading sad stories.
I would love to read any positive experiences on here please, so if anyone can point me in the right direction, that would be great.
X
