Hi, I was diagnosed in January with melanoma, I had a WLE & SLNB early March but still waiting for results. Iv phoned the consultants secretary a couple of times and she said she will chase them up, she mentioned that it's unusual for the results to take this long, why would my results take so long I'm so worried

I had my WLE and SLNB 4 years ago now but I can still remember what a worrying time waiting for the results are. Most results take between 2-4 weeks to come back but if the pathology labs are particularly busy then it can take longer.
