Just diagnosed melanoma

Hi Onlymee and a very warm welcome to the melanoma group.

I can understand your feelings of shock, especially as you were diagnosed just two years ago with kidney cancer. When you feel up to it, could you perhaps tell us a bit more about your diagnosis and what stage you're at with treatment, etc.

Hi, just been told I have secondary melanoma cancer or had. Surgery in Dec wedge resection. Thought it might be secondary from kidney cancer. Booking me in for ct scan soon. Stage 4. I’m in shock….. I have always had quite a few moles but non been suspicious. So don’t know where it’s from. Treatment looks not good for me as have psoriatic arthritis. Told need to way up whether to go for treatment. Life feels at a end to me at moment. Need to get positive head on.    Maybe tomorrow when it’s sunk in .
