Hi everyone- I’ve had a mole removed from my thigh a couple of weeks ago. Last week was told it was melanoma. I’ve got to go for an ultrasound on Wednesday and then on 13th July I’ve got to have more skin removed. I’ve also been told I've got to have lymph node biopsy, possible node removal and immunotherapy. I have 4 moles on my back and stomach they are watching too. It’s all extremely scary. I know I’m a very lucky lady in that I am being seen quickly through private care. I am scared how long this could go on as I am extremely moley. Trying to stay positive
Hi Maloo, It's a scary time when you've just been diagnosed. It can be OK. I've just had WLE and SLNB whihj came back negative. So sending you love.
Hi Maloo, scary is not the word for it! I felt the same, I have had my scan and from the results I have to have a mammogram which is this Wednesday. Once this is done I can then have my WLE and SLNB One of my friends just told me to take it one day at a time and one appointment at a time… It’s not easy, sending you lots of love and support

I had my ultrasound last night which came back as clear. I have my pre op tomorrow and then my WLE and SLNB next Wednesday. One step at a time !
