Hello my Mum has been very recently diagnosed with Lung Cancer just last week and never has had it before and is 83
Wondering what the next stage will be
She is still in Hospital at the moment in the Lung Ward
Hi Kentred1 welcome to the group, but sorry to hear about your mum. This is a very difficult question for anyone here to answer, as mum is in hospital she probably will not be on the usual cancer pathway.
The best thing you can do is ask the nurse there, she will arrange for the doctor to speak to you. I know how worrying this must be for you. If you need to speak to someone please do call the Macmillan support line on 0808 808 00 00, who are available 7 days a a week from 8am until 8pm.
