Hi all im new here 3 years ago I had kidney cancer tumor was removed and half my kidney. All clear. Then in January I kept getting pain in kidney area but knew something wasnt right kept going doctors she put me on pregabalin and eventually sent me for ct I knew I had 3 nodes on lungs that they was keeping check on. Then I got the call that 2 of the 3 looked suspicious and they wanted it investigated I got called in to lung doc to be told its suspected cancer. Pet scan done and the 2 glowed. I had biopsy on top left it turned out to be carcinoid cancer met surgeon was decided to remove and top left lobe but before this wants to find out what top r was is so another biopsy but this was unsuccessful so then met oncologist consultant he advised
DOTATATE PET Scan so im heading to london on sat for this as they unsure dealing with same cancer. This as taken a long time and tumors have grown. I am getting no pain in left lung but I am in right side but last few days constant pain and tingling in hand as anyone else had this thanks or reading

It must have been incredibly frustrating knowing that something wasn't right but not getting tests to find out what. I hope that everything goes well on Saturday and that you don't have to wait too long for your treatment to begin.
