My husband has mastetic lung cancer, spread to liver and bones
I am so scared and out of control, any advice on how to do this would be gratefully received.
Hello. Sorry to hear about your husband. My mum was diagnosed with lung cancer earlier this year. I was beside myself when I first found out. My advice would be (and it’s easier said than done) try to take each day at a time. Try not to worry about what hasn’t happened yet. And remember you’re not alone. Everyone in this group will be able to relate to your fears and emotions. X
Hi Tonidc,
My husband of 40 years, this year, also in same boat as yours with virt same diagnosis. Initally I was a wreck and very early days at present, but trying my hardest to stay positive. There are new treatments coming out all the time, just praying one will work for him and even though we have been told it isn't curable, it is treatable. This is what I cling to. Wishing you much luck,
Lisa
I received this awful news earlier in the year which was a total shock ! However, I am receiving immunotherapy treatment and so far feel fine. I am trying to feel positive and take every day as it comes. Sometimes it is harder for the partner to deal with so sending you both hugs - stay strong together !
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
