I have Non small cell lung cancer which is made up of both Squamous and Adenocarcinoma. I have had my lower right lobe resected to remove 2 tumours 3 weeks ago. It had spread to the lymph nodes so I am due to have chemo soon.
I also have ER+ DCIS in my right breast which is being treated with hormone therapy until my lung is treated. They will then do a mastectomy.
I feel very lucky that it was caught early and mostly removable. I just hope I can survive 5 years to see my daughter graduate university.
