Hello, I'm Kay have stage three lung cancer that is rather rapidly spreading. I am having palliative care I have had radiotherapy which has stopped it growing however I'm left with a lot of radiation fibrosis which is not very nice but then nor is any of this nasty illness. I find it hard at the moment as my partner of ten years has left we were due to marry this year. I feel very lonely i know like dealing with this illness i will deal with him going. I hope you both have a lovely evening and maybe we can chat on here making friends.
Hi Kay.h and welcome to the group. I have been reading your profile and can see you have already been on quite a journey. I am sorry your partner has left. Its so hard when that one person you thought you could rely on, lets you down. We have a chat section here in the lung group, the lung chatty thread is quite active, or you can start a thread of your own. As you have said you are having palliative care, you can also join the incurable group here living-with-incurable-cancer-forum which is a very supportive group just for people with incurable cancer.
Take care
