I have been on here a lot documenting my journey so far (whoop whoop) but now have a new question I had a reoccurrence on suture line of old op and went for the radical treatment hoping for a cure so 2 chemo and 30 radiotherapy so hard work ! I am on my last week of radiotherapy and they are already discussing immunotherapy durvalumab .Has anyone had the same treatment or had durvalumab on top of chemo or radiotherapy if you can give me any advice .Obviously I feel in a weaken state so not sure how much of a drain this will be on the system

Hi Kingston I’m sure someone with experience of this will be along soon to share their experience with you, but I believe that although immunotherapy comes with its own side effects, it is gentler than chemo. Of course everyone reacts differently, and you certainly have been through a lot already! What I can say is your team wouldn’t offer it if they believed you couldn’t cope.
