Well I'm home and things going ok. Get winded easily and its driving me crazy. And I feel good one day and feel I took two steps backwards next day. Is this normal? I just dont know how to feel about things.. i want to be better and i am walking and such in house like they suggest but sometimes just going down stairs wids me to the point of almost panicking i want get my breath back. Nurse came out yesterday says things look good took my one stitch out said it looked ok she put a couple butterfly stripes over it for a couple days. I went in a car to bank and did a little walking but not feeling great today is that normal?? Sorry just rambling as I'm not sure how I'm supposed to feel i dont want to stop doing small things but i feel so exhausted...

  • I think you are trying to do things a little quickly and tiring yourself (dont shout at me) I have been there and know how frustrated you feel ,you are bound to feel tired .my surgeon gave me a good tip ,that was to take baby steps in everything i do ifor 6-8 weeks, sleep if i felt tied ,even if it was for 30 minutes ,i walked up and down my garden for a week ,though it is 80ft .and it is normal to have good and bad days ,i did not get winded very often nor breathless until i was going up an incline ,but it soon passed ,please be kind to yourself and take your time   Christie

  • Thank you. It's just strange I get the incline thing I'm always winded after going up the stairs and they are steep. I just no If I dont walk it want get easier I heard that in the hospital more then once.

  • Yes you do need to walk everyday but remember its not a marathon
