Hi
i am in pain practically every day, I take 5mg morphine mst in the morning and evening along with paracetamol. Is anyone else always in pain or is anyone on another painkiller they can suggest?
thanks
Hi. Sorry you are in pain. There’s nothing worse.
I had a lower anterior resection on waking I felt I’d been hit by a bus. Tramadol held it back. My GP proscribed slow release and I found that managed my pain well
You could ask your medics what they think. I wasn’t prescribed much pain relief with my lung op. Just over counter so I’m not sure if Tramadol is advised for lung.
Best wishes.
Ann
It’s so lowering. I took a long while to recover from my LAR my GP was really great. Which impressed me as I haven’t seen him in years. He said there’s no need for me to be in pain.
It was such a relief. The Tramadol were amazing but they’re a really strong painkiller. Your GP hopefully will be able to help you
Best wishes
Ann
