Mum has lung cancer

I’m struggling. My mum has just been told she needs chemo after having surgery for early stage lung cancer. As Xx mum was under going test for this cancer my dad was diagnosed with advanced lung cancer. Two weeks after mums surgery dad passed. Mum was told last week she needs chemo. It’s overwhelming

Hi Annjoebfd626. I'm sorry to hear this. My mum had surgery for lung cancer that we thought was successful but unfortunately we seem to be back where we started and currently waiting for the results of a second biopsy. I don't have any great words of wisdom but I wanted to reach out a hand across the internet. Struggling here too but as I keep saying to my mum, at this point we just have to hold the line. Wishing you and your mum well. X
