Hi all, three weeks ago I was diagnosed with a mass on my right lung. It came as a shock as I was just getting over pneumonia and was feeling so much better after the antibiotics. I just had a cough which stayed with me. The cough started last November after I had Covid, it went away then came back. I'm still waiting for my CT scan results which I had done on last Wednesday. My stomach us churning and the horrible wait is doing my head in. I rang the secretary at the hospital yesterday and she said the doctor will phone you, but I've still heard nothing. I feel I'm in a nightmare 24/7.
Hi Banashake
The same thing happened to me, I had a large oval mass on my lung, absolutely devastated. I got a letter from the hospital with a date to go in and see the consultant after my scan as my Dr said he would need to dig deep to get the results. I have been diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer and I am currently going through immunotherapy treatment. Hopefully you get your results soon it is such a worry waiting for the results. X

Thank you Jinty, where abouts in the UK are you? I'm in Norfolk. How long ago were you diagnosed? Sorry to ask questions, I feel so alone, I'm sure you felt the same? x
Hi
I am in Glasgow, I was diagnosed in June, I had a pain in my back and was a bit breathless I thought I may have put on a few pounds as I’ve always exercised went to the doctors in May and she prescribed antihistamines. I went away on holiday in June and was fine except for sleeping in a strange bed which I never do and slept on the plane. Went back to my doctor middle of June and got sent for an x ray and that’s when they found it! Everything has been really quick for me which I’m grateful for. I was a bit off balance and had fluid on the brain which I am on steroids for, but they are down to 0.5mg today for 7 days and I want another brain scan to check the fluid has gone as I am a bit scared about that as I was sick constantly.
