Hi there, my mum was diagnosed with small cell lung cancer back in February this year she has had 12 rounds of chemotherapy and immunotherapy. She is now receiving immunotherapy only every 3 weeks. Her recent brain MRI scan has shown one of the tumours in her brain has marginally increased whilst the other one has remained the same. Over the last week her speech has changed and she is getting tongue tied and is slurring her words. Has this been the case for anyone else? Has anyone experienced radiotherapy for brain metastases?
We will be calling her cancer nurse tomorrow to see what they recommend, but i just want to know other peoples opinions.
Thank you
