I've tried to ask a nurse but it want let me. I called my doctor surgery he calling put pain pills and antibiotics tomorrow.. but I did alot of walking last three days trying to exercise like theyve said to but woke up today scared, achey I think small fever so its freaked me put a bit.. help someone please talk me down..

  • As in my ainexity has gone through roof. I'm so tired of being alone.. I have teens( joy joy) but no mom or aunt or dad or anyone here.. I just cant seem to get a grip on my nerves

  • I wish there was words to make you feel better, it's obviously long time and you don't seem to be getting right support from your doctors maybe call the helpline for quick gab, they understand and it gets your rant out to someone and defo helps getting it out, I see your struggles I have 30 old son with aspergers syndrome but the age your daughter is to will be so confusing for her , we sometimes take it to heart if not getting on , i go thro that with my son..but bless them as they don't know any other way at times and hit out as they don't fully understand, maybe if your daughter sees you trying to be more positive it will help her, and please don't take offence I know we can't all be positive, but you need to stay strong think positive and try not to overthink, and I personally knowit helps me I can have down days and not always be positive, has your daughter got any input from any services with her diagnosis

  • Thank you. I dont know anymore..

  • Try give someone a call and get your feelings out, and i wish there was something i  could say x

  • Hi

It's Megan here from Macmillan's Online Community team. I hope you don't mind me replying to your post, I just saw that you said you had tried to post in the Ask a Nurse section but couldn't. I just wanted to let you know the Ask a Nurse section is closed until Monday when it will be re-opened at 8am.

Please don't worry, the Nurses are still available to support you over the weekend when you contact the Macmillan Support Line. You are very welcome to call 0808 808 00 00 for free between the hours of 8am and 8pm. There’s the option to get in touch by sending an email, or using live webchat during the opening hours.

I do hope you'll consider getting in touch by using one of the above suggestions and will continue to post on the community when you need some peer support. If you need any help using the site, please don't hesitate to email community@macmillan.org.uk or send a private message to the Moderator account.

  • I emailed as when I call I end up crying alot and then cant breath good as my nose stops up..I just want to k ow if I can take bynedrl for my sinuses..

  • Hi. I know how your feeling hun. I have panic disorder and, at the minute, my anxiety is through the roof. Like you it has started my nose off. I feel like I cannot breathe and have been having trouble swallowing. Trying to bring it down is really hard. I've done all the usual stuff I do but nothing seemed to work. I usually take Beconaise to help but wasn't sure I could as I'm starting radiation in 3 weeks. I found my way with Mucadyn for excess mucus, and surprisingly, simple calpol saline nasal spray for babies. For me its working. my anxiety has started to ease up.lts not easy when your on your own with no one to speak too. I do have a family but I really don't want to talk to them about all of this. This is a great community, as you know, to vent everything out. Someone is always there to help. I like to think we're all family on here as we have one of the biggest connections anyone could have to face. Don't be afraid to ask for help. We are all here when and if needed x

  • Hi, how are u feeling today? X

  • I didnt feel well all night I started coughing and had a pain in left side spent most of day at hospital finding out I had a chest infection . Feeling a bit better. She also explained it's taking so long as they need the biopsy done.. my 21 yr old daughter harmony (who I dont see alot as shes living her best life I wish I could be as laid back as her)and her friend took me for chest xray after 111 sent ambulance and they suggested I go get one.. I'm glad you found something that helps. My doctor gave me some pills to help as and when needed but doc gave me tramadol for pain yesterday and I can't take the two together  so I'll just have to breath
