Hi guys,
I'm new to the group so hello all!
My mum has been diagnosed with NSCLC Exon 20 mutation. She has had first line treatment of ABCP, In December her CT showed disease progression, last week she started her second line treatment of mobocertinib. Unfortunately she is getting a significant amount of diarrhoea (most common side effect). Does anyone have any experience on what foods may stay in her for longer?
Hello there
sorry to hear abt your mums side effects. Thin soups (no veg) eg chicken noodle, flat coke. Crackers. Plain chicken. I gave my mum flat coke when she was having similar problems, Dr said it was just as good as dioralyte. Dr should be able to prescribe Imodium or something similar to help as it’s not bacterial . Hope this helps x
Good morning lovely people.
2nd CT scan on 17 April this tear (R upper lobectomy Dec. 2022) recent scan has shown my middle lobe is compressed. Having bronchial lavage on the 23rd May. Letter to GP from consultant described it as possible middle lobe syndrome, GP unsure what this is. Regular chest infections but one in December this year & a few weeks ago really floored me. Throat is quite raw & my voice is quite hoarse. Anyone able to suggest any ideas on what's going on with me ?
