Immunotherapy Itching

Hello everyone I am new to this group and was wondering if anyone else is on immunotherapy as any advice on easing itchy skin is welcome.

    i was immunotherapy I just used a skin Therapy spa body lotion for dry skin it was great and I still use it now

    Hi Free12 thank you for responding, the itching is unbearable. Been given Epimax, Antihistamines but did not help so today rapid response said try steroid cream.

    my husband also suffers terribly with itchy skin driving him mad at times, other than high dose antihistamine, cetraben and steroid cream nothing really stops it. It’s a really frustrating side effect .

  • I feel for you Karen, have you tried a cool bath/shower  .?
    the cream my husband uses from the Gp can be brought over the counter , I’ve seen it in boots , Superdrug and sainsbury.

    perhaps call the out of hous oncology team

    Hi Fred 64 It does drive you mad, nothing will stop the itching it's there day and night doesn't stop, I have used different moisures, Antihistamines haven't worked, I think I need double dosage.it keeps me awake at night.          Karen 1958

    Hi fran what is the cream called, I talk to my oncologist on Tuesday going to ask him what will stop itching 

  • Hi Karen the cream is called Ceteaben, ask for high dose antihistamines 180mg

    Hi Fred 64 I have just spoken to a doctor at 111 because I am on 180 mg Antihistamines I cannot double them          Karen xx
