Hi Everyone new to this I have large lymph nodes of the lungs also an entangled liver had X-ray had ct scan now going for a MRI scan fingers crossed at the mo has anyone else been through this Process thank you very much
Hi Pete
With regards to your liver; what I think you are referring to is a numb blood vessels that have come together to form a clump. When I was going through my lung cancer diagnosis/pre-treatment tests, a CT scan highlighted a possible tumour in my liver. An ultra-sound scan found it to be a benign clump of blood vessels. I think this is quite common, as the liver is very rich in blood vessels.
As for the x-ray, CT scan and MRI scan process, this is routine for for the diagnosis, and just as importantly, the elimination of, lung cancer. I think most of us on here will have been through this process.
Please keep in mind that you do not have lung cancer until a diagnosis is made! So you keep those fingers crossed!
Kegsy x
Hi happy Pete, I also had enlarged lymph nodes and lesion on my liver. Liver turned out to be nothing to worry about, but as kegsy says the tests you will go for are to diagnose but also rule out lung cancer! It's only after these tests you will know what is going on with your body so stay strong meanwhile and try not to fear the worst. We are all here to talk to and support you. Take care xx
Thankyou it’s nice to talk to people that have gone through this hope you all stay safe and get well soon
