Hi, my mum has been newly diagnosed with lung cancer, she's having scans & had a biopsy but couldn't cope with having a pet scan, she became overwhelmed & just broke down, it's so hard to see her so vulnerable & scared & I am trying to support her & be a rock but am finding it so hard myself because of the unknown, sometimes it feels such a lonely place
Hi
I was diagnosed in 2010 with small cell lung cancer and given 3 years max but here I am 10 years later still going strong.
The only thing I can say is try to concentrate on one thing your mum wants to achieve and when that's done go for another.
Hopi this helps both you and your mum ppl
Dusty lady
