I am sorry to read that they have found a cause for concern. This is the worst part when you have so many questions and no answers as yet to them. It does sound like they are kicking the wheels in motion to help you get those answers and may ask you to attend some more appointments and tests to ensure they give you the full picture.
I wasn't sure when I read that if you meant cm or mm.
