Hello All
I thought about setting up a thread for us all to use to chat about various stuff across, so it's all in one place and newer members posts not getting pushed down and off the discussion front page before getting an answer.
I hope you are all doing well and not too stuffed on easter eggs?
I have not eaten mine yet! I went to bed friday night not feeling well and woke up Saturday with a horrid migraine throwing my guts up usually I fall asleep and sleep it off. Not so, I ended up going to the OOH doctor Sunday afternoon as was still throwing up
He gave me some lotions and potions and still not right yet. Though haven't thrown up for a few hours now. I going to try and eat something soon (not easter eggys) to see if I can manage that and see if it makes me feel better. I hate being ill! Especially on a bank holiday weekend with such nice weather. I was so looking forward to it and I have slept most of it away.
Hi Cathy. It depends what device you are on. My iPad has arrows and numbers at the bottom of the page, but iPhone just has the arrows. So under this post there is a green box with a < to go back a page. The double << next to it takes you right back to page one. It has taken me a while to get used to the new format, but I think I’m just about there now.
how are you doing? Am I right in thinking you had a hospital appointment this week?
Anyone heard from nel107 last I heard she was still in hospital
Hi Chelle
I had a call on Monday not much different I asked about trials and she said I can go on line to see if there is any. They will ring again after Christmas now so I suppose I just let my body have a rest and hopefully see what happens next.I am feeling ok just have problems with my legs swelling. Its all a bit scary but I am trying to be positive and enjoy without treatment. Its all harder with the stupid virus still try and keep hopeful.
Hope you are ok it’s strange not seeing Gina on here.
You have certainly been through it Peggy, just make the most of the break from treatment, get yourself strong again. Hopefully the New year will bring new treatments for you.
You are right about Gina, I miss her lots.
Hi Chelle,
I’ve also been wondering about Nel. I do hope everything is alright with her.

Well everybody that knows me, knows how much I love cruising. Today I should be out at sea on the new Iona, cocktail in hand, probably singing sweet Caroline. But thanks to corona I’m sat at home, with a baileys, watching Coronation street instead. Let’s hope we get over this covid 19 soon, carry on with my cancer treatment, and carry on cruising again soon.
Well what a let down that Andy is
He should have got all the gear together and should be comforting you by supplying the cocktails If you go and stand at the door and shut your eyes, with the wind blowing you could pretend you’re on deck
Sorry Chelle, couldn’t resist, it’s a shame but fingers crossed we’ll see covid off and you can go on your cruise
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
We’re here to provide physical, financial and emotional support.
