Hello All
I thought about setting up a thread for us all to use to chat about various stuff across, so it's all in one place and newer members posts not getting pushed down and off the discussion front page before getting an answer.
I hope you are all doing well and not too stuffed on easter eggs?
I have not eaten mine yet! I went to bed friday night not feeling well and woke up Saturday with a horrid migraine throwing my guts up usually I fall asleep and sleep it off. Not so, I ended up going to the OOH doctor Sunday afternoon as was still throwing up
He gave me some lotions and potions and still not right yet. Though haven't thrown up for a few hours now. I going to try and eat something soon (not easter eggys) to see if I can manage that and see if it makes me feel better. I hate being ill! Especially on a bank holiday weekend with such nice weather. I was so looking forward to it and I have slept most of it away.
Wouldn’t that be lovely Chelle! It’s looking more positive that we’ll see light at the end of the tunnel soon so we can start living again! X
Julie, he’s making me a cup of tea instead
Well the rain has hit the south coast. Any snow anywhere yet? We hardly ever get snow down here, but I do quite fancy a white Christmas this year.
No snow here either, just more rain, though we did have hailstone yesterday. My brother sent me a photo this morning of the snow in Edinburgh
Oh how lovely for them. Well I suppose it’s nice if you have nowhere to go, ideal for me. I’d love to see what my little doggie made of it. She’s not very impressed with all this rain.
Ahhhh Chelle,
she needs a cuddle my little dog is the same, won’t go out in the rain, usually turns into a battle of wills. She goes to the door desperate to go out sees the rain sits back down and so it goes on, until out of frustration I open the door and say to her go on run quick I’ll go with you, then I end up standing in the rain and she’s sitting in the doorway looking at me as if to say what the hell are you doing
Hi everyone, just checking to see how are everyone is doing? Still not heard from Nel, I do hope she is ok. I’ve had a busy week, moving my dad to a ground floor flat, which i’m very grateful for as he fell down the stairs last week. Hope you are all managing to keep warm. X
Today I had my zoledex injection. This is a hormone pellet that goes into your tummy, which blocks the estrogen. I have to have this every 12 weeks. I have a fare bit of tummy fat, so sometimes I don’t feel this rather large injection. Today it really hurt, and it made me feel quite sick. Hope you’ve all had a better day. Happy weekend everyone x
