Hello,
My Mum is receiving immunotherapy treatment every three weeks. She has had 4 rounds of treatment as since treatment no2 has developed a rash on her arms and one leg.  This is apparently a common side effect - she has been advised it isn’t too bad and to put a moisturiser on it and if it is really bad take an antihistamineÂ
Some of the skin is broken and it is slightly itchy - I was just wandering if anyone had any advice or recommendations as to what we can do to help the rash including any specific moisturisers.
Thank you so much for taking the time to read this. It is of significant comfort to me knowing I can come here where people are kind enough to listen and help.Â

Hi
I have had the same reaction changes my shower gel to a sanex one, two antihistamine, one morning one at night.
Had e25, avenoe, Vaseline creams to rub in, nothing worked, then reading on this site the amount of people that was using udderly smooth never heard of it but gave it a try, and after a week what a difference.
Was told to get it of Amazon. For me it was trial and error with every thing else
I had some broken skin as well it has now complete gone. Hope this helps
,A 12oz tub cost me £10.49.
I did try loads of things, it is so nice to find something that worked.
I put up with it for three months before i got this what a difference after a few days.
Hope this helps.

Hello Claire mf
i had immunotherapy and I developed a rash which looked very much like psoriasis. I was told that the immunotherapy treatment I received would remain in my body up to a year after my treatment ended. My oncologist said it possible that immunotherapy could continue to attack good organs or cause the rashes and it could also cause RA rheumatoid arthritis. Which who make you immune compromised. Although the immunotherapy treatment works wonders it can also have cause some unpleasant effects. X
Hi Janabells
I had the psoriasis-like rash too, it developed about a year after Keytruda was stopped. These side effected seem to hang around for ages, I'm hoping that the good effects do too.
What helped me was swabbing the rash with Clean&Clear Deep Cleansing Sensitive Lotion, which has salicylic acid as the active ingredient. I did pause a few weeks to see if the rash was fading by itself anyway but the rash then stabilised so I resumed swabbing. Progress was slow, but better than nothing.
kind regards
Steve
