Hi, my partner was diagnosed with squamous cell lung cancer 18 months ago. He has had 3 sessions of chemotherapy last year, continuing with immunotherapy (Pembro) since then and a radical 20 sessions of radiotherapy in July. There seems to be an issue with night sweats if he takes Paracetamol late evening or at night. If he takes paracetamol in the day,no problem. Anyone else come across this?
thanks
Hi Worcs,
Has he tried ibuprofen instead of paracetamol? Pembrolizumab can cause joint pain so ibuprofen is more appropriate because it also reduces inflammation. It has no issues with Pembrolizumab, but best either not taken on an empty stomach or with omeprazole.
kind regards
Steve
