Pembrolizumab

Hi My husband is on it started having it for four Sessions with Carbaplatin and Premexted now is on Maintenance cycle which is premexted and pembrolizumab every 3 weeks for 2 years he had is first scan which has shown it has shrunk the tumours there is a leaflet that macmillan have produced which details it your Oncologist should be able to give you one

Hi my Husbands is stage 4 tumour in right lung and small one in left lung no lymph node metastatic good luck to you

 welshlad it is really good news they have offered you immunotherapy. I know it will feel daunting to you at the moment but immunotherapy really is the wonder drug for lung cancer. Once you get into the swing of the treatment you’ll be fine x 

I have been given immunotherapy for near 18 months it's held my stage 4 lung cancer with no worsening problems since diagnosed

I can testify it's worked for with mild side effects a small price to pay
