I had surgery last Tuesday which was booked two hours and turned into four hours three hours lung collapse
When I awoke I was in HDU joined everywhere to monitors and drains I spent five days there and two days on a ward.
I feel like I cannot breathe. Wheezing and tight though I’m not sure it’s the chest.
Any suggestions on breathing exercises or using a nebulisers would be really great. I’ve contacted my nurses and they’ve not called back yet
Feeling anxious with this noises coming out of me
Discharge Summary
7/3 right vats lower lobectomy & wedge resection of upper lobe
Thanks Julie
Its hard to get my head around that I’m relieved to have a primary cancer. Life certainly throws us some curve balls.
Im relieved it’s not from my bowel as I would jump to stage 4.
I will be monitored by my bowel team and lung cancer team. Our amazing NHS
Roll on to some spring warmth and sunshine that’s definitely what I need
