I'm having my first treatment of keytruda on Friday and just wondered if anyone else on here is also having it?
So glad to be starting treatment but extremely nervous and weepy about the whole situation.
Hi...I'm still waiting anxiously for the results! It's been nearly 4 weeks now.
With a bit of luck your enlarged nodules may just be your immune system fighting and that's why they are swollen. As you've only had 3 treatments I wouldn't be too discouraged.
My fluid has dried up now but they want to leave the tube in for a little longer to ensure it doesnt come back.
I'll let you know when I get some news but meanwhile try and stay positive and hope you have a great weekend.
Xxxx
Hiya fingers crossed for you and hope u get a good result
Hi there....well it's an positive news...
As my lung was squooshed on first CT scan they weren't sure if what they were measuring was the tumor, but whatever it was it was 3.5cms. Most recent CT scan reports now 1.7cms and no spread outsidef chest cavity. So hopefully, fingers crossed, things are moving in the right direction..
Hi Gill
That fabulous news! I am so happy for you. All you need now is to get that drain removed. It does make a massive difference to your comfort.
Had my 3rd Covid jab yesterday.. no ill effects at least.
Hope things keep reducing for you. Have a lovely weekend.

It's wierd..I can't get excited as I'm scared to get my hopes up that this is good news but I'm figuring it has to be.
Have a great weekend and let's hope we're both on the way to happier days xxx
Hi there...how are you doing?. I got my tube out yesterday ...yay... Like yours, they had a bit of a struggle but eventually it came out. I was surprised how much tube was inside.
Feeling pretty good post surgery and even took my dog out for a walk today.
Let me know how you're getting on...I do hope all is fine xxxx
Hi the wife is going through the same be strong let's us know how you are doing please !
Hi Gill
Great news you have had your tube out. Mine seems a distant memory now. Doing ok apart from fatigue. Bought myself an oximetre as I think my blood oxygen levels need monitoring as I am still breathless but feels different to when I had fluid. Not got above 93% in 3 days. I was measuring on my phone app but lung nurse wasnt convinced it was accurate. It seems it was pretty close. Next step is to call GP to discuss what next.
Otherwise I am doing ok. Still get a short walk in most days. Enjoy your new found freedom.

Hi...I'm always looking at my blood ox but I'm not convinced my phone app works as well. I'm usually around 97% according to my fake Fitbit but at hospital I was 100%.
Hope you manage to get your breathing sorted...it's horrid when you feel like that as it's a constant reminder ️
I'm feeling good and just got to wait a few days until my stitches are removed. Its just so nice to be able to lie on my left hand side when I go to sleep .
Take care and keep me updated xxxx
