Hi All,

I was looking at my Dad’s discharge letter from a couple of weeks ago from hospital, he is starting his 2nd cycle of chemo and immunotherapy on Tuesday next week, but noticed at the top of his letter it said “BC - No Spread”, does anyone know what this means?

He has Small Cell Lung Cancer with shadows on his spine and liver.

Thank you

  • Hi

I am not entirely sure but I think this may mean that the cancer has not spread to the bowel.

  • Hi Kegsy,

Thank you for your reply. That would make sense as he did have a scan of his liver and abdomen before he left the hospital, so it could possibly be that.

    Thank you
