Has anyone had a lung metastasis to the skull treated with radiotherapy? The lung metastasis spread to the upper part of my frontal area. Thankfully no spread to the brain. .im due to start a course of intense radiotherapy and very concerned about potential side effects especially concerning an effect on my memory. My memory isn’t too great as I’ve got older and any deterioration is concerning. I know I need the treatment but anyone with experience of this would be helpful whether it’s good or bad at least I’d get a feel for it. I’m having stereotactic radiotherapy and have to travel to another city as my hospital doesn’t have the machine. A loss of hair near the treated area and an eyebrow has been mentioned too.
