My husband had his first cycle of immunotherapy on Friday for lung cancer. This morning he told me that his stool was black and like tar. He's also very tired and falling asleep. Is this normal or do we need to get him checked out ? He has no pain.
Hi Daisy_21
Good news that your husband has started his treatment. You should have been given a 24hr hotline number for any issues you have, I would give them a ring and tell them about what’s going on with hubby today regarding his stool and I would mention the tiredness as well whilst you’re on, they will tell you what if anything you should do, or, as Gail has said ring 111
Take care
