Your comments/advise on the following would help me.
They have a plan & I've signed up for it!
They wish to start with GemCarbo Chemotheropy, said it would be a maximum of 6 cycles each cycle being 3 weeks duration
Week 1 of cycle would be 1.5 hours, week 2 half hour, week 3 .nothing
After 3 cycles I would have a PET scan to judge progress.
After the GemCarbo they will move onto Radiotherapy, current unaware of timing or amount of treatment.
After the Radiotherapy the next stage would be Immunotherapy.
So is this a standard approach?
Any comments/suggestions?
Hi Johnoo. So does that mean that surgery is now off the table?
It sounds like a good plan to me. I think it is good to have something left on the back burner, so leaving the immunotherapy until a later date sounds good to me. Always good to have a back up plan. Immunotherapy is often the last treatment option.
Yep, no surgery, said high risk!
So now I await start date.
Other comments/advise would be very welcome, I worry a lot!
