Hi everyone, im Stuart, i have just returned home after a month in hospital following successful surgery for bowel cancer. I was just sitting here reading my notes from the consultants and discovered i also have liver metastasis. I knew i had spots on my liver but it would be dealt with soon. From the little ive read it doesnt seem promising, has anyone infomation and/or experience of this ? Many thanks Stuart.
Sorry to hear this Stuart. I have a different cancer (triple negative breast cancer) but I have liver metastasis. I have been treated on two occasions with microwave ablation and I know it also used in my hospital for people with secondary bowel cancer.
