Just joined this group after concentrating on 'Emotional support '. Currently on my 21st cycle of chemo for what started as bowel cancer, so I've had multiple cycles of Irinotecan and capecitabine. I must admit that although the side effects haven't been too onerous, it is becoming a bit tedious now, still, it's keeping me alive, and the support that I have from my clinical cancer team, has been exceptional, so I'm really fortunate.
Hi
I'm glad to hear that you've had good support from your clinical team but I can imagine that after 21 cycles of chemo it could become a bit tedious.
I hope you don't mind me suggesting that you also join and post in the very friendly and active bowel cancer group as it's a great place to share experiences and give and receive support. If this is something that you'd like to do clicking on the link I've created will take you there.
