So sorry if this is in the wrong place but mother in law only advised of 2 liver nodules this morning after completing chemo for bowel cancer. She has been told she will have TACE treatment but wondering about micro ablation but is this available to patients in Wales please?
My wife can't get it as she has secondary BC in liver and spine, might be an option if there's no spread and it's primary cancer. The Rutherford centre in Cardiff do it, but strict criteria. We're in Swansea area but if this line of treatment doesn't work I'm going for a referral to Christies or Royal Marsden as they’re specialist centres. Good luck and please let me know how you get on.
