Hi I'm Jo, still in a bit of shock about my diagnosis of liver and bowel cancer after thinking I just had gall stones. Looking to chat for and give support. Just finding my way around this app.
Hi, I had a scan on Saturday last week, now waiting for the results. My last scan in December showed one of my tumours had almost doubled in size. So the decision was taken to start on daily chemo tables (3 tabs in the morning) I hope to get my scan results next week.
The new tabs are taking time to get used to, sickness, tiredness, sore hands and feet I'm told it will get better overtime. Life is tough, but we just have to keep positive, smile when we can xx
It's best to look it up online, not sure if you can get it in the uk without paying, any questions contact me, I have had cyberknife treatment
Hi apologies for late reply, ive not checked this thread for a while as wanted to have a break.
So sorry to hear you in this situation....its a whirlwind so im more than happy to connect and see if I can offer any help or support as im in a much better headspace now I've reached almost a year into my treatment.
It looks like you can have this done in the uk but you do have to pay.Which I would do if I knew it works.could you give me any information on this please.I have secondary liver cancer lechon on the liver. Not sure where the primary is though having a PET scan tomorrow.
