I suffered from liver cancer 4 years ago and had a tumour the size of 17cm but luckily I was able to have it removed. However 4 years later I have now been told by my doctors that they believe that although my liver is ok now that the cancer might have spread to my lungs and that they believe I might have lung cancer now. Has anyone who has had liver cancer experienced the cancer moving to a different site? I am extremely stressed, anxious and very worried as my hospital and gp are taking months to get any results just leaving me hanging
Hi Katy
I don't have the experience you're looking for but noticed that your post hadn't had any replies yet. Responding to you will 'bump' it back to the top of the discussion list where it'll be more easily spotted.
I can see that you also posted this in the secondary lung cancer group where you have had some replies.
I'm sorry to read that it's taking a long time to get the results needed to start treatment. Do you have a CNS (cancer nurse specialist) or key worker who you could contact to see why this is taking so long. If you explain that it's leaving you feelings extremely stressed and anxious they may be able to help you further.
